IDAHOT+ Forum 2026

ABOUT THE FORUM

The Danish Ministry of Environment and Gender Equality, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and the Council of Europe are co-hosting the 13th European IDAHOT+ Forum under the central theme ‘Pushing for Progress’. The event will be held on 19 May 2026 in Copenhagen, to mark the International Day against Homophobia, Lesbophobia, Transphobia, Biphobia, and Intersexphobia.

The European IDAHOT+ Forum serves as a unique platform for policy makers, civil society and international organisations to exchange, coordinate and reinforce efforts to advance equal rights and opportunities for LGBTI persons across Europe.

This year, the Forum will consist of two plenary sessions: The first plenary will examine current obstacles and challenges affecting LGBTI persons while the second plenary will focus on how to push for progress for LGBTI persons. The programme will include thematic breakout sessions as well as high-level panels and keynote interventions.
